ARA to Showcase Mission-Ready Technologies at AUSA 2026

“Mission Advantage. Delivered,” highlights advanced technologies built for the fight.

Washington, D.C., Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) will showcase a portfolio of mission-ready capabilities at the Association of the United States Army’s 2026 Annual Meeting & Exposition (AUSA), October 12–14 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Under the theme “Mission Advantage. Delivered,” ARA will demonstrate technologies designed to help soldiers and formations see earlier, decide faster, extend operational reach, reduce risk, and maintain readiness in increasingly complex and contested environments.

AUSA is a land power exposition and professional development forum bringing together Army leadership, government, industry, and international partners to explore the technologies and capabilities needed for the future battlefield.

Technology Built for the Fight

At AUSA 2026 visitors will have the opportunity to engage with ARA teams supporting:

  • Autonomous Systems and Robotics: Extending operational reach, increasing mission flexibility and reducing soldier exposure through unmanned and autonomous platforms.
  • Intelligence, Sensing, and Situational Awareness: Detecting, identifying and understanding threats earlier to provide formations with actionable information.
  • Electronic Warfare and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations: Providing technologies designed to disrupt, deceive, protect and create operational advantage across the electromagnetic spectrum.
  • Mission Planning and Decision Support: Turning complex information into actionable insights that enable faster, higher-confidence operational decisions.
  • Mission Systems and Payload Integration: Connecting platforms, sensors, payloads, software, and mission technologies to address specific operational requirements.
  • Modeling, Simulation and Testing: Accelerating capability development, experimentation and operational assessment while reducing technical and programmatic risk.
  • Rapid Prototyping and Production: Moving validated technologies from concepts and prototypes toward repeatable, mission-ready capabilities.
  • Readiness and Sustainment: Supporting the systems, infrastructure and technologies required to keep formations operational across distributed and contested environments.

Enhancing Operational Value

ARA’s AUSA 2026 message reflects a larger challenge facing the defense community: technological superiority has limited operational value if emerging capabilities cannot transition quickly enough to address rapidly evolving threats.

ARA works across the capability lifecycle to help close that gap. From applied research and advanced technology development through prototyping, integration, testing, production and sustainment, ARA works with defense customers and industry partners to turn complex requirements into deployable solutions.

AUSA attendees are invited to visit ARA to explore current technologies, discuss emerging operational requirements, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
